Nazi Germany (officially known as the "German Reich", sometimes known as the "Third Reich") was the German state that existed from 1933 to 1945, under the control of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime.

It is featured as the secondary setting for some Western Front and Eastern Front maps in Call to Battle 2.

In-game

The Third Reich was one of the first factions added to Call to Battle 2 and its predecessor Call to Battle 1. They are the faction with the most appearances in the mod, appearing in more than 20 maps.

Classes

• Rifleman: Wears an M36 uniform with standard-issue rifleman equipment such as a canteen, entrenching tool, gas mask, and ammunition pouches, a Modell 1935 Stahlhelm, M36 trousers, and jackboots. The Karabiner 98 kurz is the starting weapon of this class. Uniform can alternate into M44 or Afrika Korps versions, depending on the map.
• Assault: Similar to the Rifleman uniform, albeit with 4 MP-40 chest rigs, the gas mask and canteen are still present. The Maschinenpistole 38 is the starting weapon of this class. Uniform can alternate into M44 or Afrika Korps versions, depending on the map.
• Technician: Wears the same uniform as the Marksman class, with the addition of a field cap. The Mauser C96 equipped with a wooden stock is the starting weapon of this class. Uniform can alternate into M44 or Afrika Korps versions, depending on the map.
• Support: Wears a M36 uniform with bandoliers and shortened sleeves, a Modell 42 Stahlhelm, M36 trousers, and jackboots. The Maschinengewehr 34 is the starting weapon of this class. Uniform can alternate into M44 or Afrika Korps versions, depending on the map.
• Marksman: Wears a "clean" version of the M36 uniform, a Modell 1935 Stahlhelm, M36 trousers, and jackboots. The Karabiner 98 kurz equipped with a Zeiss ZF-42 scope is the starting weapon of this class. Uniform can alternate into M44 or Afrika Korps versions, depending on the map.
• Paratrooper: Wears the same uniform as the Marksman uniform. The Walther P38 is the starting weapon of this class.

  • The Heer is present as the base faction in the mod.
  • The Kriegsmarine is present in the form of a kit.
  • Lastly, the Luftwaffe is present in the form of the Fallschirmjäger
• One of the kits, the Volkssturm Hero kit, is available in both the Third Reich and Volkssturm factions.
• The German Paratrooper class can only equip pistols as in real life Fallschirmjäger couldn't drop with weapons such as rifles due to their parachutes being "lousy and dangerous".
• The SS are only present as kits
