Red October is a map featured in Call to Battle 2. The map takes place in and near the Krasny Oktyabr (Russian: "Red October") factory in the industrial district of Stalingrad.

The Red October factory was one of Stalingrad's three giant factories alongside the Barrikady Arms Factory and the Stalingrad Tractor Plant, being responsible for providing the latter with steel. During the Battle of Stalingrad, German units advanced towards the three factories which were heavily defended by Soviet forces. Fighting around the Red October factory was intense as the determined Soviet defenders fend off attack after attack launched by the Germans. The entire factory was destroyed after the battle but was restored in 1946.
