French Third Republic
France is one of the newest factions added to Call to Battle 2, it currently has the most items out of any of the new Factions in the Fall Gelb update cycle.
History
In 1939 Germany invaded Poland in which France declared war on Germany along with the United Kingdom, Polish Soldiers evacuated to france and participated with french soldiers in 1940 battles like the Battle of Narvik, later in 1940 Germany Invaded The Netherlands and Belgium to go around Infamous Maginot line and forced the British to evacuate at Dunkirk, the Germans then moved towards Paris and took it, General Charles De Gaulle and the Free French forces helped the allies in North Africa from 1941-1943 and later helped retake their homeland in 1944 in Operation Overlord and Operation Dragoon.
In-game
France was added in the 5.7 update, the first update in the Fall Gelb update cycle, it is currently on 5 maps: Outpost, French Town, El Alamein, Gazala and Kasserine Pass.

- Technician: The French Technician class.
- Support: The French support class has the FM-24/29 as a Level 1 Unlock.
