The Marksman class is a Defensive class currently exclusive to CtB's 5 main and largest Factions.
the Marksman class uses Scoped rifles of both types, with germany having scoped battlerifles and assault rifles available
The marksman class lacks a Unique uniform though the standard field cap is used on some factions, on most maps it has a cooldown of 5 minutes which was added due to the class been seen as 'overpowered'
like the Support class, it gets reduced xp from offense but bonus xp from defense

- United States: Starting Rifle is the Springfield M1903A4
- Third Reich: Starting rifle is the Karabiner-98k with ZF-39 scope
- Soviet Union: Starting rifle is the Mosin-Nagant M1891/30 PU
- United Kingdom: Starting rifle is the Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk.I* (T)
- Imperial Japan: Starting rifle is the Arisaka Type-97
Trivia
- it is up in the air as to whether or not more factions would get the Marksman Class
- Italy is the most likely candidate to get a Marksman class next, as the devs have brought it up a couple of times
- other factions that would be eligible are France, Belgium, Finland and Romania as these nations all had dedicated scope rifles
- Norway has a scoped Krag rifle however it is Exclusive to the Elite Snipers kitpack
