Panzerbüchse 39
The Panzerbüchse 39 (sometimes abbreviated as PzB 39) is a German, single-shot, anti-tank rifle featured in Call to Battle 2.
Overview
The Panzerbüchse 39 is an anti-tank rifle. It was a replacement to the previous Panzerbüchse 38, developed by Gustloff Werke. Both anti-tank rifles were similar in performance with the Panzerbüchse 39 having an increase in length.
The only difference is that the Panzerbüchse 39 had two detachable bullet cases located to the side of the weapon, as a means of reloading the weapon more efficiently. Each are able to store up to 10 bullets. The rifle used the 7.92x94mm Patronen cartridge, being able to penetrate 10mm thick armor.
The Panzerbüchse 39 was most effective during the early and mid-stages of the war until 1944 when the Allied forces began to develop more thicker armor, rendering the Panzerbüchse 39 obsolete against heavily armored vehicles.
In-game
The Panzerbüchse 39 is available as a battle pickup in Call to Battle 2. Due to it's overall length, the Panzerbüchse 39 is very bulky, slowing down the user's movement speed by 15%. Because it is an anti-tank rifle, it is able to kill a player regardless of the area of impact. The Panzerbüchse 39 also has one bullet case instead of two.
The Panzerbüchse 39 acts similarly to that of the Volkssturmkarabiner VK-98. It must be set on its bipod or the user is crouching before it can be fired. When fired from the crouching position, it has very high recoil. The Panzerbüchse 39 is effective at killing opponents less than 80 blocks away. Its statistics are comparable to that of the Soviet PTRD-41 and its reliability is outgunned by the British Boys' AT Rifle and the Polish Wz. 35.

Tactics
- Because it is an anti-tank rifle, it is able to penetrate some surfaces and kill a player regardless of the area of impact. Despite this, it is advised to aim for the body!
- Use the Panzerbüchse 39 from a fixed position, firing while crouching is not recommended!
- You should use the rifle from an area where you are barely visible.
- Make every shot count! The Panzerbüchse 39 has little reserve ammo, afterwards ammunition cannot be replenished.
- A player should carry a sidearm with them. The Panzerbüchse 39 is not reliable in close combat and has a moderate reload speed.
