The Karabiner-98 kurz (kar98k, K98k) is a German bolt action rifle derived from the M1898 pattern mauser action serving as the Standard infantry service rifle of all german armed units in WWII. It is featured in Call to Battle 2.

History

In-game

The vz. 24 is featured in Call to Battle 2 as the default unlock for the Rifleman and Specialist classes of the German Faction. It shares similar stats to other bolt action rifles.

It is chambered for the 7.92x57mm Mauser cartridge.

It can take several attachments such as a Suppressor, Grenade Launcher and Several scopes

Statistics

Pros

  • High damage.
  • Non-obstructive iron sights.
  • Very reliable.

Cons

  • Cannot attach scopes.
  • Small ammo capacity.
  • Low fire rate.
  • Slows down movement speed by 4%.

Tactics

  • Because it is a bolt-action rifle, keep track of your targets as the bolting animation can obstruct your view from them.
    • However it can attach a bayonet, but this will increase the length of the rifle and make it difficult to hide in corners, when equipped.
